Trimezia galaxioides

Trimezia galaxioides is with small but lovely flowers, like tulip. I grew it from seeds, and finally it bloomed after 4 years at least. Because of few fertilizer, its height from surface of soil in flowerpot to leaves tip is only 25cm. Easy to grow, it needs full sun, watering it after the soil near dry.
It's rare to bloom two flowers on one inflorescence at the same time. Single flower bloomed totally in the morning after the plant accepted sun light, and faded just near mid day time. You could enjoy its blooming for 3 weeks to one month approximately. This species is easy self-pollen, but I always take fruits off, because that's long long time to wait for small flowers by seed-reproduceing. It's easy to propagate by asexual reproducing, one plant could become 10 or more after half a year.
